The Massachusetts Board of Registration of Professional Engineers and of Land Surveyors has finalized changes to its regulations, which are found in Title 250 of the Code of Massachusetts Regulations. The Board’s regulations set the standards for the practice of engineering and land surveying throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Board of Registration of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors establishes, monitors and enforces qualifying standards for the engineering and land surveying professions. The Board members, unpaid volunteers appointed by the Governor, work to insure that persons practicing in these professions are competent to practice and are not endangering the life, health, safety and welfare of the public.
