The Government Affairs & Professional Practice Committee serves as both a catalyst and facilitator in promoting civil engineering professional concerns related to local or national government affairs. The committee’s mission is to investigate, study, and make recommendations concerning Standards of Practice affecting a combination of professional ethics, legislation and interagency coordination in which the civil engineer has a particular interest.
