This event is taking place in lieu of the Annual Interchange typically held each year and provides unique access to key decision makers for each of the states in New England. The event will feature the annual DOT Roundtable discussion with ITS leadership from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. Leaders from each state will discuss current ITS projects, challenges and possible solutions, technologies of interest, and their ITS strategic plan and outlook.
The ninety-minute roundtable will conclude with a brief networking session before the group boards chartered transportation to nearby Cambridge, MA for a private, two-hour cruise along Boston's Back Bay on the Charles River. The foliage in Massachusetts is typically nearing peak conditions by mid-October with potential for a stunning cruise along the Charles River which separates Boston's Back Bay area from Cambridge and runs out into Boston Harbor.
