John Anthony, PLS, State Survey Engineer, MassDOT Highway Division
John Anthony is a registered Professional Land Surveyor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with over 30 years of experience in land surveying. John has worked for the State Highway Department since 2011. Some of John’s responsibilities as the state survey engineer include assisting state agencies and municipalities with survey issues relating to town lines; overseeing the operation of the MassDOT CORS Network; overseeing the establishment of geodetic control for various MassDOT projects; and preparing and managing the administration of statewide survey contracts, miscellaneous contracts, and cooperative agreements. Prior to joining MassDOT John held various positions in the private sector land surveying profession including instrument operator, crew chief, survey technician, survey project manager, and survey department manager.
Mehdi Sadjady, SIT, Survey Base Plan Engineer, MassDOT Highway Division
Mehdi Sadjady is a Land Surveyor-in-Training in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with over 21 years of land surveying experience in Massachusetts and Iran. Mehdi has held the position of survey base plan engineer for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation since 2020. Mehdi moved to the United States in 2014 and restarted his career in land surveying holding various land surveying positions including instrument operator, crew chief, and survey technician at LandTech Consultants, Brennan Consulting, and Nitsch Engineering. Mehdi is a 2002 graduate of Iran Azad University with a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics and holds a 2017 Professional Land Surveying Certificate from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Registration Fees: $55/person, $110/up to three people, $165/up to five people for MALSCE members* and $85/person, $170/up to three people, $255/up to five people for non-members.
For group registrations the applicable registration fee will be determined by the membership status of the majority of registrants. Please note that a recording of this webinar will be made available for viewing for a 60-day period.
