This webinar features Mark Bobrowski, a partner at Blatman, Bobrowski & Haverty LLC Attorneys at Law and author of the Handbook of Massachusetts Law of Land Use and Planning Law. Now in its third edition, this handbook is frequently cited by the courts of the Commonwealth and has proven to be an excellent resource for many professional land surveyors. During his 75-minute presentation, Mr. Bobrowski intends to discuss the following topics along with pertinent cases where he has worked with surveyors:

Mark Bobrowski, Esq., Partner at Blatman, Bobrowski & Haverty LLC Attorneys at Law has been a land use lawyer for thirty years. He graduated from the New England School of Law in 1985, with honors. His practice focuses on assisting clients in the public and private sectors with permitting strategy and decision making, litigation, and appellate argument. Mr. Bobrowski’s land use practice is statewide. He has worked in one capacity or another in half of communities in Massachusetts, including the recodification of the ordinances and by-laws of at least 100 cities and towns in the Commonwealth. He has also recodified general (code) by-laws, subdivision regulations, and administrative regulations in dozens of municipalities.
From 1986-2014, Mr. Bobrowski was a tenured professor of law at the New England School of Law, where he taught Property, Land Use Law, Local Government Law, and Administrative Law, along with various seminars and clinics. He remains a professor emeritus with the law school. Mr. Bobrowski is the author of the Handbook of Massachusetts Law of Land Use and Planning Law, supplemented annually, now in its third edition (2012, Aspen Publishers). He has also authored a dozen law review articles on topics encountered in his work.

Registration Fees: $50/person, $100/up to three people, $150/up to five people for MALSCE members* and $75/person, $150/up to three people, $225/up to five people for non-members. For group registrations the applicable registration fee will be determined by the membership status of the majority of registrants. Please note that a recording of this webinar will be made available for viewing for a 60-day period.
* Members of CALS, MSLS, NHLSA, NYSAPLS, REBA, RISPLS and VSLS can attend for the MALSCE Member rate.

Continuing Education
