Road Safety Audits

Road Safety Audits (RSAs) have been institutionalized in MA and have been an important part of many roadway projects since 2010. To date, more than 750 RSAs have been performed in MA and, as such, many consulting/design firms have been involved in various aspects.  MassDOT would like to meet with the firms to discuss some thoughts and impressions of the state of RSAs in MA and how the RSAS can be enhanced to make them even more effective. MassDOT will also talk about anticipated changes in the near future.  If you conduct RSAs for MassDOT or municipalities or are thinking of participating in RSAs, please come to this Feb. 13 Zoom briefing.
