Italian Heritage Center, Westland Avenue, Portland, Maine
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Come join us on the 25th! Help us resolve several boundary disputes between two fictitious property owners, one being an owner of a parcel created in 1900 and the other being the owner of the junior parcel remaining. Both parcels have frontage on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean with overlapping claims of the tidal area on one side and overlapping claims over the road (private or public?) to the rear. Of course, being neighbors that don’t care for each other very much, they are in conflict on the two sidelines as well! Seems that we have 2 surveyors who don’t agree on …. well…. anything, so we have quite a mess to resolve. In fact, these two landowners and surveyors need your help!
We have two accomplished attorneys, John Cunningham, Esq. and Peggy McGehee, Esq. who are ready and willing to aggressively argue their client’s case, the two surveyors who will testify and Judge Robert E. Crowley to help you the jury decide on each issue. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to head over the Italian Heritage Center in Portland Maine on October 25th, review all the evidence which will be made available to you, listen to the testimony of our two expert witnesses and decide how each boundary conflict should be resolved. Judge Crowley will wrap things up after all testimony has been heard and you the jury have made your opinions known by commenting on the decisions reached.
So, are you ready to accept this mission? Sign up and come join us for a day of fun and conversation, we may actually learn something!
